My friend Renee and I started a book club. Every five weeks, a group of local women meet for a couple of hours to discuss books and life. It's been great fun and a great way to meet people (or get to know them better). You can tell a lot about a person by what books they read. Some of our favorites are:

Kim Edwards: The Memory Keeper's Daughter
Jodi Picoult: Salem Falls
Kristy Kiernan: Catching Genius
Janine Latus: If I Am Missing or Dead
Nancy Horan: Loving Frank

I've also been reading (and recommend) the following:
Deanna Raybourn: Silent in the Grave
Jodi Picoult: Plain Truth
Ann Packer: The Dive from Clausen's Pier
Tracy Chevalier: Girl with a Pearl Earring
Tess Gerritson: The Bone Garden
Do you find this valuable?
