My friend Renee and I started a book club. Every five weeks, a group of local women meet for a couple of hours to discuss books and life. It's been great fun and a great way to meet people (or get to know them better). You can tell a lot about a person by what books they read. Some of our favorites are:

Dockers for Women chinos and Liz Claiborne jeans come in short, regular, and tall lengths for petite women. Yeah!!! I don't mind bringing dress pants to the tailor for hemming, but not everyday pants. Perhaps this means we're one step closer to men's sizing charts (W32/L32). I would love to see clothes tags that said inseams were 28", 30", 32", etc. I'd also like to see more standard sizing between different brands, like a size 6 is always a 6.

My friend Vicky recommended Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm and it's now my favorite. However my husband and daughter prefer BB's Honey Lip Balm instead. As my daughter would say, the one with peppermint is "too spicy."
