Prenatal yoga classes build strength and relieve stress. It's nice to be with a group of women of all shapes and sizes, all preparing physically and mentally to go through childbirth. I had never done yoga before, and now I'm hooked. I took Mommy & Baby yoga classes and now I go to the "adult" yoga classes by myself.

Take childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, baby care classes, pediatric first aid classes. Some things you can't learn from a book. Besides learning from others' experiences, you may meet other parents-to-be from your area and start a friendship and/or form a playgroup.
