Welcome to the Mom Basics wikipedia! Like a discussion board, this wiki is your space to post ideas, comments, questions, or whatever else on parenting and kids.

To start, check out the Navigation box on the left. I have divided the wiki into two sections:

(1) kids by age group (Kids: the Early Years, Kids: School Age, and Kids: High School + Beyond)

(2) Mom Basics (the parenting pages)

If you click on the triangles in front of each section name, you'll see more specific categories, such as (a) toys, books, movies and (b) help + advice. To see all the posts in a list, click on Discussion Forum. You also can search this wiki by typing a word or phrase in the box above the Navigation menu.

To post, you must join this wiki and create a profile. To give your posts more character, upload an image that will show up on each post you add. It can be a photo of yourself or anything else you'd like. Mine is a fuschia flower.

If you don't find an appropriate section for your question/comment, just post it on the home page and I'll move it to the appropriate page or create a new page as necessary.

So go ahead! Ask for help from other parents, share advice and parenting tips, discuss your favorite things, tell your proud parent moments and favorite family stories, and suggest ways for making time for yourself. Chat and enjoy the company!
